Nice sentiment

I received the following email from The Secret Daily Teachings, and liked it a lot: 

"Every single day, no matter who you meet in the day - friends, family, work colleagues, strangers - give joy to them. Give a smile or a compliment or kind words or kind actions, but give joy! Do your best to make sure that every single person you meet has a better day because they saw you. This might sound like it is not connected with you and your life, but believe me it is inseparably connected through cosmic law.

As you give joy to every person you meet, you bring joy to YOU. The more you can give joy to others, the more you will bring the joy back to you.

Regardless of whether you believe in the power of positive thinking, The Secret or any of the other similar 'Law of Attraction' ideas out there, I think most people could agree that the above suggestion is a positive one; one that's worth giving your best effort to.

A new kind of cardio training.....

I've discovered a new kind of cardio training - Cat Cardio (go with me on this).

Essentially there are two versions of cat cardio that I have formulated during the sunnier weather we enjoyed a few weeks back (as opposed to the somewhat cooler weather we have now, which is not quite like a nuclear winter, but may feel like it at times).

Version 1:

Hold a long twig, piece of string or similarly styled cat toy in one hand and run up and down the garden or hallway for 20 minutes until you or your cat (or neighbour’s cat if they happen to prefer your garden) are suitably exhausted.

Version 2:

Exactly the same as the above except the cat just sits (or lies) and doesn’t do anything except watch you run around….until you’re suitably exhausted. It then walks off with disgust, disdain and blatant mockery written all over its face.

Version 1 is more fun.

P.S. You can use this template with other animals. Dog cardio is a winner for defo, the jury is still out on Budgie cardio and goldfish cardio is a non-starter…trust me on that one.

I'm glad I had my lone, mercury filling out 3 years ago.

I may well test for heavy metals in my body when extra funds manifest. Could take my health to the next level.

I'll post more this week. Somewhat hectic times are giving way to less hectic ones.
