On 30th May I was able to have my bodyfat and circumferences taken by my brother.
I weighed in at 13st, 4lbs (up by 3.5lbs since my last measurement in Oct '09). My bodyfat then was 9.5% and I'm currently just under 12% (11.9% to be precise).
I've started running again once a week, am stepping it up to 3 times asap.
I'll have a re-measure around the end of June and see how it's going.
My muscle circumferences were mainly slightly down on Oct '09, not sure why. Perhaps all the time spent on max strength work lost me some sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. I trust I'll get that back doing my current mass routine.
I've also noticed a slight bulge around the area below my belly-button. If I see it on a client I think 'bloating and inflammation' straight away.
If you look at the picture on the right below, you'll see what I mean (these were taken just after rising on Sunday morning so I obviously look my best).
I'm a bit baffled by it as my diet is so strict now. I avoid wheat and gluten 100% along with anything processed including dairy.
When I next have a coaching session with Catherine Carrigan in the US or Dave Hompes in the UK, I'll bring it up and see what they think.
Perhaps some kind of detox or colonics are needed?
This is week 8 of my current training routine. Next week is the mid-routine week off, which is followed by another 8 weeks.
My goal is single digit bodyfat again by the end of July, and to be in the best shape possible come the end of August, if not before which is what I achieved 2008.
