It's been a busy week. I've lots of stuff to focus my time and energy on and am choosing not to post regularly as a result.
Here's a summary of the last 10 days:
1. Major opportunity for spiritual growth came why way and I've accepted it and am doing my best to make the most of it.
2. Went to see my friend Rich Aloi in a play called 'Pay as you go' in Kilburn - http://cocktaverntheatre.com/payg.htm - light on laughs though very well acted by everyone involved. Kilburn was an interesting place too.
3. My best friend Tim and his family came to visit. Spent a few precious hours in the park and had a great time catching up. He made me 2 brilliant birthday gifts which have given me untold ideas for 'special' presents for birthdays and christmas etc. Pics to follow.
4. Continuing studies. 'Calling In The One' course is ongoing, challenging and (I trust) transforming.
5. Passed my 1st Aid re-qualification last week and had lots of fun doing it; I played the casualty during all the assessments for my fellow attendees. Loved it. Maybe acting is my true vocation? Only joking....or am I?
6. Bodyfat re-assessment revealed my percentage had gone up slightly. Not what I wanted, though it was what I expected as the mirror showed little change from the end of June to the end of July. As a result I changed re-examined my nutrition, reduced my excessive protein intake and reduced my portion sizes too. Results, going by the mirror, look promising; obliques showing through, waist reduced down to just over 33 inches and am now under 13 stone, whilst workouts in the gym have been excellent.
7. Desiring to get to bed earlier. Too many nights I've been getting to bed after 11pm.
8. Looking at a property next week. Desire to relocate to a more visible area with lots of passing trade.
9. Search for a new home resumes next week.
10. Went on a date last night. Had a nice, fun, pleasant time.
11. I remain open, curious, accepting and happy with where I am, who I am and what I've got, whilst continuing to do my best to move forward and enjoy my journey towards the goals and intentions I've set myself.
Stay well, accepting (especially of yourself) and happy.
