Evening all,
Updates are weekly as I'm immersed in completing the Calling in the One course.
1. Training - it's been a week of rest for me. I've completed the second 8 weeks of Jay Ferrugia's Max Mass 2.
Next week I intend breaking myself back in relatively easily, especially as I tweaked my left brachioradialis and maybe biceps brachii too. I've been applying NMT (deep tissue release) on myself with good results. It's not 100% and I want it to be before I train at max effort again.
Am considering using a 31 day arm specialization routine by Mike Westerdal (a.k.a.'Doberman Dan'). It'll dove-tail nicely with my last month of training for fat loss.
Speaking of which I've definitely got leaner this last week from gently reducing my protein and calorie intake. It's simply been about controlling portion sizes whilst maintaining my protein intake at 1 gram per pound of bodyweight (180-190 grams per day for me spread over 5 or 6 meals).
2. Business - August has been a quiet month, which I've used to relax and plan. It picks up again next week with clients back from hols, some new enquiries to follow up and (I trust) a visit to a shop-front that I intend to move my business to.
3. Everything else - had a date last week. Very nice, though nothing further developed from it and I'm cool with it. The fact I went on it was a plus, and the fact I dealt with the lack of a second date was even better.
Still looking for a new home to relocate to. Looked at 2 bungalows and a flat this week. The search continues.
Found another direction for self-development once the Calling in the One course finishes this week.
Committed to getting myself to the USA this year to do the Sue Maes courses that Catherine Carrigan has been telling me to do for the last 18 months.
All is well. Moving forward at MY OWN PACE, which is the right pace for me....obviously.
Stay well, happy and enjoying the journey because that's far more important that the final destination.
